Bringing Pangea and Painting Together

Help me give my students painting supplies to enrich their understanding of the natural world around them. Each student will learn how to paint a landscape that shows properties of Earth Science.

My Project

Bob Ross inspired me to paint when I had lost my job, just before I decided to become a teacher. Painting brought me through some tough times, and I would love to pass this down to my students. Relating this to science, my students will be given a picture of our local mountain, Mt. Diablo. They will paint this geographical landmark, 'Bob Ross' Style. Enjoyable and educational! This will give my students a sense of self-confidence in creating their own pieces of work and reinforce their knowledge of science.

I need supplies, canvas, and paints, to equip my students for the work, as Bob Ross had said.

"I can't think of anything more rewarding than being able to express yourself to others through painting. Exercising the imagination, experimenting with talents, being creative are truly the windows to your soul."
