My Students
Our team has an exceptional group of fourth graders. These students have become aware of others with special needs since they have a student who is vision impaired in their grade. They have learned how to help this student in many ways, and by so doing have learned the skills of adaptivity and compassion. These kids also have a lot of energy. They love to move around the class and have an opportunity to work in many different arrangements around the room. This is a terrific bunch of students who are quick to respond and be on task, no matter where we are.
Our students are eager to be cooperative and work as a grade to help others around them.
As a team, we believe that our students have already displayed such great life and learning skills. They are hardworking, patient, and eager to learn.
My Project
These materials will enhance our students learning by helping them to utilize their Chromebooks more effectively.
The bands, wiggle seats, and seating pads will help students who struggle with sitting in one place for long periods of time.
A school day is a long time to sit only at your desk. The bands and wiggle seats are especially effective for students who need to wiggle. this keeps them where they need to be during instruction and allows them to wiggle without whole class disruption.The seating pads will afford students the opportunity to get out of their desks and into a more flexible seating alternative during certain activities during the day.
The legos and play doh will be used as a way to have students use a hands on approach to learning. They will do this by creating something with one of these two tools.
