Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are creative, caring, and full of energy. They come from many different backgrounds and bring a wide range of strengths and learning needs into the classroom. Some are learning English, others thrive with visual tools or hands-on activities, and many benefit from opportunities to collaborate. What they all have in common is a strong desire to learn, connect, and succeed together.
Digital learning is a key part of both our math and reading programs, and this interactive smart board will help us fully bring those lessons to life.
Whether we’re solving multi-step math problems, building vocabulary knowledge, or working through a shared reading, this tool will allow students to participate directly with lessons instead of passively watching. They’ll be able to manipulate models, annotate texts, and explain their thinking to peers—all while staying actively engaged. My goal is to make daily learning more inclusive, visual, and collaborative, especially for students who benefit from movement or multiple modes of input. The mobile stand will let us use the board flexibly for different activities and spaces.
This project will give our class the tools to fully engage with the digital resources already built into our curriculum and give every student a chance to take part in exciting, interactive learning. Thank you so much for helping us create a more dynamic and equitable classroom.
