Bringing Nature Inside to Explore the Plant Kingdom

Help me give my students a hands-on approach to Botany! They will be able to read about, do their own planting, observe the growth, and then record what they have learned.

My Project

In my Montessori classroom, botany is a branch of biology that explores the world of plants, from their basic parts to their role in the environment and human life. It encourages hands-on exploration, observation, and understanding of plant life cycles and ecosystems.

The materials requested will continue to enhance and deepen my students' understanding of Botany.

The books will provide a much needed resource while students are doing research on plants. The seeds, mortar and pestel, and the propagation station are materials we will need when conducting numerous plant experiments. The Circuit BrightPad Go light boxes and the "How to Draw Flowers and Plants" will be helpful tools when the students are making their research presentations.
