My students are kind, motivated and eager to learn. They enjoy working collaboratively and using technology to enhance their learning. My students attend in an inner city public school. Many of my students are bused from the surrounding neighborhoods and 80% come from low income households. My students qualify for free breakfast and lunch everyday. My students are excited and looking forward to the up coming school year, but they will need the proper resources in order to be successful.
My Project
Help! I just got to my new school, teaching in a new classroom, and it needs an upgrade! My new classroom has zero technology, has an old, colorless, and dreary feel, and still has chalkboards covering the walls!
Giving my students a suitable atmosphere with more tools will provide them with an opportunity to establish a foundation, discover new talents, and grow.
The printer and projector will be used to display reading material (since I am only supplied one copy of each book), while the white board will help with the hands-on learning experience for my students. The technology will give my students an advantage in the learning world and will make it incredibly easier for me to educate them!
