This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My school has had the fortunate opportunity to become an IB Certified School. This means that there is significant emphasis being placed on providing our students with access to a global community of learners. This single laptop and document camera can afford my students this opportunity. Not only will they be able to connect with students within our district, but also with those significant and vested community members.
With that being said I would love my students to have access to technology that will allow them to fully participate in this new world of learning.
As a dual language teacher, it is even more important and vital that I provide my students with a 21st-century education. I do not believe that language should be a barrier and if anything should serve as a key to access new opportunities.
