This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 6th grade students will be hosting their first musical "Highlights from Shrek" this school year. The pandemic has taken away opportunities to perform, so I am hoping to use these costumes to bring the excitement back.

I am hoping to make music exciting again by performing a fun story with fun music to enhance their musical experience.

Getting costumes to wear when we perform excites students and helps bring the show to life.

My hope is that if they perform in a show, that it will bring their confidences back.
