My Project
My students are young children who are just beginning their education. I hope to be the reason why children love to learn and grow in their education Staying modern in the classroom and keeping up with the world around us, is important to me.
If I had a 3D printer in my classroom, there are so many things I could use it for.
In Kindergarten, math manipulatives are something that we use in the classroom every day. We could use the printer to print different manipulative to stay relevant in our lessons. For example, when we are doing our section on animals, we can print groups of animals to count with.
Using a 3D printer is a type of engineering. 3D printers are rapidly becoming a helpful component in STEM education. Designing prototypes and 3D models to look at and see in person is a great educational tool.
Another way we can use the 3D printer in the classroom is to make 3D models of Earth and Space to put in our classroom. With 3D models, I can teach my students about how Earth and all of its layers. We can also print a 3D model of Space. Including all the planets, the Mars Rover, an astronaut, and a spaceship.
Thank you for anything you choose to contribute to my classroom and my students future in education!
