My students are curious, hardworking, and eager to engage with math in new ways. However, they often struggle to follow along when solving complex visual problems such as geometric constructions or transformations. An IPEVO document camera will transform our classroom by allowing me to display live problem-solving, model student work, and incorporate interactive lessons that make abstract math concepts more concrete. Sometimes we even use paper folding or paper tracing to help analyze and manipulate difficult diagrams. This document camera will allow me to model this for a full class of students in real time.
With this tool, my goal is to create a more engaging and accessible learning environment where students can visualize key concepts, collaborate more effectively, and gain confidence in their problem-solving skills.
