I need to attend the Pathfinders Summer Institute to expand my knowledge and experience of incorporating technology into my students' making experience.
We are a school represented by diverse cultures, languages, interests, and strengths. The mission of our school and a focus in my class is to foster each child's natural curiosity and help them develop skills as problem solvers and life-long learners.
My students love technology and being creative!
They are inquisitive and are the most engaged when utilizing the many possible tools that technology can provide. Whenever possible, we try to provide personalized learning opportunities for students to explore and create.
My Project
By attending this institute, I hope to acquire and be exposed to the approaches and mindsets needed to continue to develop our school's Makerspace. I want to take the content and skills I learn back to our staff and students to provide the more authentic experiences integrating making and technology.
I am asking for the opportunity to develop my own technological and maker experience at the Infosys Pathfinders Summer Institute.
At this virtual week-long institute, I hope to be inspired by what I will learn to develop more projects and activities for my students.
