Bringing Making to Life with Robotics

I need the opportunity to broaden my own technological ability and my Maker's experience and mindset at the Infosys Pathfinders Winter Institute.

My Students

We are a school represented by diverse cultures, languages, interests, and strengths. The mission of our school and a focus in my class is to foster each child's natural curiosity and help them develop skills as problem solvers and life-long learners.

My students love technology and being creative!

They are inquisitive and are the most engaged when utilizing the many possible tools that technology can provide. Whenever possible, we try to provide personalized learning opportunities for students to explore and create.

My Project

By attending this winter institute, I hope to learn more about the components of robotics and how to incorporate it with the coding my students are already learning in our Makerspace/Computer Science classes.

I hope to acquire and be exposed to the approaches and mindsets needed to continue to develop our school's Makerspace program.

In addition to bringing robotics content and skills back to our staff and students, I hope to further develop my online instructional skills by learning from the awesome presentations and instruction modeled by the instructors of CodeJoy.
