This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a classroom of adorable four-year-olds. I love their eagerness and curiosity about the world around them. The children are involved in many activities throughout the day.
My children engage with their peers in choice time center activities that involve many opportunities for hands-on learning, growing, and socializing.
I would like the opportunity to engage my students more, as they learn through play each and every day.

My Project
For my class project, “Bringing Life, Fun and Creativity To Our Pre-K Art Center,” I asked for colored tape, colored craft sticks, hole punchers that are kid-friendly, easy to use, and come in different shapes and designs, and different materials for collaging. These materials will make a difference in my students’ learning by giving them more exposure to different art materials that they can use to add to their beautiful creations. This will help with fine motor building, self esteem building , creativity building and will also give the children the opportunity to explore with their sense of touch as they manipulate different materials with different textures (hard macaroni, soft feathers, etc.) Please help me give my students more fun opportunities for hands on learning.
