Help me give my students some hands on tools to help them in their learning. These tools will help bring their learning to life by giving them tactile options to enhance their understanding.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As first graders, my students come to me with a willingness to learn and a wanting to explore the world around them. They are full of joy, laughter, intrigue, and their own unique personalities. These kids love to come to school and want to learn in the most hands-on way that is possible. They love to move and learn about each other and other parts of the world.
They may be little but they are filled with emotions and confidence that can leave you amused and astonished all at once.
They can be silly and serious, but fill up the classroom in the best way possible. Each of them provides something new and different into our little classroom family. They love to be helpful with me and most importantly with each other.
They are smart and creative in different ways and can shock you in an instant. Each one of them is filled with dreams and stories that can tell you just who they are in a matter of minutes. They will surprise you in more ways than one and will definitely keep you on your toes.
My Project
Learning is about using all of your senses. Most often students use their sight and hearing, but touch is also a very part of the experience. When it comes to young learners, being able to physically see and do something helps make it more concrete. Using physical letters, shapes, counters, and other manipulatives helps bring a new level of understanding into their learning.
These tools will help students physically take hold of their education and help them visualize words and numbers in a more significant way.
Between the magnetic tiles, letters, ten frames, personal math white boards, and the word building cards students will be able to feel more control over their education.
