This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our math classroom needs a color printer, toner, and cardstock to make learning more engaging and supportive for our students, many of whom are first-generation and have a history of math aversion.
By printing colorful notes, visual aids, and hands-on manipulatives, we can create a more inviting and accessible learning environment that builds confidence and understanding.
Durable cardstock allows us to make reusable materials that support different learning styles and help students take ownership of their learning. We also want to use the printer to create professional-looking sports awards and certificates that recognize students’ achievements both in and out of the classroom. Celebrating their success boosts morale and helps students feel seen and valued. With your help, we can bring color, creativity, and confidence into our math classroom—making math more approachable and inspiring for every student who walks through our door.
