Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At STEAM Academy, our 7th grade scholars are eager to explore the world through the lenses of English Language Arts and World History. As a Title 1 school, many of our students face challenges that can limit access to enriching resources—but that doesn’t stop their curiosity, creativity, and passion for learning.
We are requesting a color printer to help bring their work to life.
In ELA, students create vivid visual essays, poetry anthologies, and character posters. In World History, they design travel brochures, timeline projects, and culture maps to explore civilizations from ancient Africa to medieval Asia.
A color printer will allow students to see their hard work come to life in vibrant detail—boosting engagement, pride, and deeper learning. It’s not just about printing; it’s about giving students the tools to express themselves and connect more meaningfully with the world around them.
