This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classroom, I believe that creativity is a powerful tool for learning. By integrating art into core subjects, students can express their understanding in unique and meaningful ways. To support this, I’m requesting watercolor paper, tissue paper, colored pencils, and a construction paper organizer to help bring our lessons to life. These materials will allow students to explore concepts in language arts, science, and social studies through engaging, hands-on projects that make learning both fun and memorable.
With your support, students will be able to create vibrant watercolor illustrations for story retellings, design colorful tissue paper collages to represent ecosystems, and use colored pencils to diagram scientific concepts or illustrate historical events.
These activities not only deepen content understanding but also foster creativity, confidence, and fine motor skills. Your generosity will give my students the tools they need to learn, create, and shine. Thank you for considering our classroom for this opportunity!
