This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my third-grade classroom, being able to model lessons visually is essential for keeping my students engaged and helping them understand new concepts. Whether I’m writing a paragraph, solving a math problem, or sharing a science experiment, a document camera lets every student see what I’m doing up close. Unfortunately, the one I currently have randomly shuts off because of a damaged wire, making it unreliable and frustrating during key moments in instruction.

A new high-definition document camera would allow me to project materials clearly and consistently from anywhere in the classroom.

It would support visual learners, keep students focused, and even allow me to highlight student work for peer sharing. With your support, I can bring clarity back to my lessons and give every student a front-row seat to learning—no matter where they sit!
