My Project
This holiday season, I want to ignite the imaginations of my third-grade students with a festive Christmas crafts project. My students come from diverse backgrounds, and many lack access to materials that allow them to express their creativity at home. With your support, I can bring the magic of crafting into our classroom, giving each child the tools to create something meaningful and unique during the holiday season. These projects will not only bring holiday cheer but also serve as an opportunity for students to explore visual arts and engineering concepts.
Crafting isn’t just about making something beautiful—it’s about problem-solving, designing, and learning through hands-on experience.
By incorporating visual arts, students will experiment with colors, textures, and shapes to design their projects. Meanwhile, the engineering aspect will shine as they build ornaments, construct gingerbread structures, and design holiday cards with moving parts. These activities foster critical thinking, patience, and fine motor skills, all while providing a sense of accomplishment and pride in their work.
Your donation will help fund essential craft supplies such as construction paper, markers, glue, scissors, glitter, pipe cleaners, and popsicle sticks. These materials will enable my students to create keepsakes they can treasure for years and even share with their families.
