This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many students do not get the opportunity to experience STEM related skills in middle school due to electives, ELD, or special education classes. Being able to imbed 3D printing and the skills needed to build models within science classes allow students the ability to spark their interest in STEM related fields they may have not known of before.

Children begin to decide what they want to be when they are older at a very young age; females decide at an even younger age (11-12 years old).

Giving every student this opportunity regardless of gender, status, or outside factors creates an equitable environment. Please help us obtain this 3D printer for our classroom.
