Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from low-income areas and low socioeconomic backgrounds. One hundred percent qualify for free breakfast and lunch. We lack many everyday school supplies, and many of parents cannot afford to buy their children pencils, folders, and other essential supplies for school.
The teachers at our school are mentors to the children.
We want all our students to succeed. The school provides a caring and warm environment to learn.
I am requesting gift cards to motivate my students when they are the Scholar of the Week, complete assessments, participate in class, and do their best by working hard in computer class. A gift card will motivate students to work hard. I would like to give them gift cards that they can bring home and show their parents. The parents will share their motivation and continue the positive reinforcement at home.
