Bringing History to Life: Science Fair Boards For Every Student

My Project

My students are bright, creative, and eager to engage in hands-on learning experiences. They come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique perspectives to our classroom discussions. However, almost 50% of our student population qualifies for free and reduced lunch, meaning that many families struggle to provide basic school supplies.

I want to ensure that every student has the resources they need to succeed, regardless of financial circumstances.

This project focuses on the Decades of U.S. History, where students will research and present key events, figures, and cultural shifts that shaped our nation. To showcase their work, students need science fair boards to organize their findings and create a visually engaging presentation.

These boards are essential, providing a structured space for students to display their research, analyze historical themes, and share their insights with peers, teachers, and the community. Without these materials, some students may struggle to complete the project or feel left out, limiting their ability to participate fully.

By supplying these resources, we are removing barriers that may prevent students from engaging in this meaningful learning experience. This project is about more than just history—it helps students develop research and critical thinking skills, practice organization and creativity, and gain confidence in public speaking. They take ownership of their learning, and, with the right tools, they can express their knowledge proudly and successfully.

My students are hardworking, passionate, and determined to do their best. With your support, they can focus on learning and creating something they’re proud of—without the worry of not having the materials they need.
