This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The donations I am requesting will help my students to bring their daily snacks and drinks in an easy and convenient way. All students participate and alternate on a daily basis contributing food and drinks. I am requesting a rolling cart that students will take home when it is their turn to bring healthy snacks and drinks to share with their peers. I am also requesting a small table to help get their refreshments ready.
Providing a rolling cart will assist my students to carry all food items and drinks in an simple and practical manner.
Students love it when it is their turn to donate snacks and drinks to share with their friends and they are eager to show what they have. It is difficult for small pre-k4 students to carry their backpacks, the food, and drinks they bring when it is their time to provide for our class. The rolling cart and small table that I am requesting will greatly impact our daily snack routine in a positive way and will make it more suitable and appropriate for small students.
