My Project
I teach two Honors Geometry classes with 45 dedicated students who love hands-on learning. Our school serves a low-income community, and my students rarely have access to advanced STEM tools like 3D printers. Despite that, they show up every day eager to learn and connect what we study in class to the real world.
With a 3D printer, students can bring geometry to life—creating models of solids, cross-sections, and transformations.
They’ll use design software and build real-world projects like bridges and tessellations. This will help them better understand math concepts while gaining valuable experience in engineering and technology.
We are requesting a FlashForge Adventurer 4 printer, PLA filament, extra build plates, and basic maintenance tools. These items will allow all 45 students to engage in meaningful, creative work that bridges math and design. Your support gives them access to technology that could shape their future.
