Bringing Color and Creativity to Our Lunar New Year

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My young students love to learn about different cultures.
Some of the best ways they love to learn is through the arts and crafts.
We are requesting ink cartridges so we can print our own stories about the Chinese New Year. The different color ink will also allow students to use their own creativity as they design their own lanterns and dragons. In addition to the ink, we are also requesting one Teachers Pay Teachers gift card. This gift card will be used to download books, art activities, and educational resources that will help students learn about the Chinese culture and the festive New Year. My students and I wish you a prosperous New Year and hope to count on your support.
