My Students

My students are part of a K-12 school where over 40 percent of the students receive free or reduced-price lunches.

Our school excels at testing, despite the obstacles the students have overcome. We are rated as one of the top schools in the state on standardized tests, with our third graders performing far above the other students in the state.

Our students are proud of their achievements and ready to learn and lead as they move into the future.

My Project

One of my students created a game using simple coding. Now the other 24 are ready to jump on the bandwagon and create their own coding experiences!

Coding is a step into the technology future for our students.

Using materials, like the Botley Robot and the accessories that Botley has with him will allow my students the hands-on experience of coding. The Botley Robot is a program that will give students involvement with using technology and coding in a real-world setting, without adding to their screen time. My students will be able to challenge each other using the different robots, tracks, and accessories while synergizing and promoting teamwork.
