Help me give my students take home books to support their reading growth. These books will provide on level texts for students to practice reading and return to our in class library!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students at my elementary are capable, valuable learners who are set to become our future leaders. As teachers entrusted with enriching the lives of these students through education, we must provide them the best of resources.
My school is a Title I school, with over 85% of our students qualifying for free and reduced-price lunch, and a majority Hispanic population of learners.
Our school is the keystone of supporting the community. We pride ourselves on not only offering excellent educational opportunities but enrichment opportunities for our students as well.
My Project
My students are eager first graders, many of whom do not speak English as their first language at home. While they are learning to read in the classroom, they may not have printed storybooks or reading materials in English at home. It is vital that they are supported with books printed in English so they can take them home and practice. Bridging the gap between reading done at school and reading in the home enhances a love of learning! A class set of leveled readers would be perfect for supporting all students by providing a "just right book" to take home.
