Bringing Books Home: Empowering Students with Reading Materials

Help me give my students books to take home to foster their love of reading outside of school!

FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Jackie's classroom raised $985

My Project

Access to books outside the classroom is vital for reinforcing literacy skills, fostering a love of learning, and ensuring that all students—regardless of their home environment—have the opportunity to thrive academically. We are seeking to provide students with books to take home, helping them continue learning and develop a love for reading outside the classroom. Many of our students lack access to books at home, and this project will ensure they have the resources to practice and grow their literacy skills.

Our goal is to give each student a selection of books they can take home to read at their own pace.

These books were carefully chosen to meet a variety of reading levels, interests, and backgrounds. By providing access to books, we aim to foster a lifelong love of reading and support academic success.

Reading at home enhances fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary. A variety of books will help students discover what they enjoy and make reading fun. Many students don’t have books at home, and this program fills that gap.

In addition, our families can bond over reading and actively support their children's education.

By providing books for students to take home, we expect to see improved reading skills, greater student engagement, and stronger family involvement in learning. This initiative will help create lifelong readers and learners.

Your support will make a lasting difference in our students’ academic growth and foster a culture of literacy at home. Thank you for helping us give them the tools to succeed!
