Bringing Back School Spirit with a Cheer Team

My students need 50 personal binders to keep all cheer information and handouts in.

My Students

Anyone can achieve and do better, but they will do better with the support of teachers who believe in them.

With over 200 suspensions last year and a middle school that was divided, I wanted to make a change this year.

I've started a cheer team at my school to bring students (mostly girls) together to create a positive environment on campus again with school spirit and a sense of belonging.

My Project

The resources I am requesting are binders for all the team members. These binders will only be for cheerleading and will be a place for them to keep all their handouts and information (cheer lists, game schedules, squad members information, team building activities/journals, etc.). Having their own binder for cheer will help them feel more part of a team with pride.

This little request will make a huge difference because we will use them everyday we have practice or a game.

This is a place where they can stay organized and feel important because they belong on a team rather than trying to fit in with the wrong crowds outside of school.
