My students need art supplies, such Elmer's glue, crayons, markers, and poster board.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Green's classroom raised $562

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Express Yourself! Just like a music band did with those lyrics, I also encourage students to express themselves in the classroom. The youth of today can be surprisingly artistic. Posters, charts, faux billboards, magazine ads, portraits, scenery for skits, you name it. The results can amaze.
Our students are ethnically diverse in an inner-city high school in California.
We have a large population of English Language Learners. Formerly part of a very large city school district, the school is now part of an educational reform agency making great strides. The students are energetic, curious, and highly expressive.
My Project
These supplies allow our students, even those with language shortcomings, to shine; to show their creativity, analytical skills, and content knowledge; and to share their knowledge with others. Visual projects created by these artistic students are viewed by all students, who gain from the process.
Please help our students help each other.
Youth today are very visually oriented, and the artwork students create enhances the experience of visual learners. It also allows for students, many of whom have little access to art classes with budget cutbacks, to explore and further their artistic interests and talents.
