Bringing American Government & Economics to Life: Hands-On Learning Supplies

Help me give my students the tools to engage with government and economics—interactive notebooks, glue sticks, scissors, index cards, and colored pencils—to make learning hands-on, creative, and unforgettable!

My Project

My students are curious, creative, and eager to engage with the world around them. They don’t just want to memorize facts about government and economics—they want to understand how these systems impact their lives and how they can make a difference! They ask thoughtful questions, debate important issues, and bring fresh perspectives to class every day.

To keep them actively involved, I use interactive notebooks, where they can take notes, create visual diagrams, and reflect on key concepts.

The composition and spiral notebooks I’m requesting will give them a structured space to organize their learning. Glue sticks, scissors, and colored pencils will help transform their notebooks into engaging, hands-on study tools, reinforcing key ideas through creativity and interaction. Index cards will be perfect for study games and quick reviews, helping them retain complex information in a fun and engaging way.

My goal for this project is to make government and economics more than just textbook subjects—I want my students to experience these topics in a way that feels meaningful and relevant. With these supplies, they’ll build a personal resource they can use throughout the year, making connections between history, current events, and their own futures.

My students are future voters, leaders, and changemakers. With the right tools, they can take ownership of their learning and develop the critical thinking skills they need to navigate the world.
