Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!

Many students in my classroom come in saying they have difficulty completing practice assignments at home because of lack of supplies and resources.

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the methods and environments in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

Please help me bring a smile to a child during these difficult learning times. It is the least I can do to help make their 1st year of school the best year. It is the small simple things that makes a child smile. The handheld whiteboards and alphabet pocket chart will help my students be able to safely practice their writing and reading skills from their desks. The motivation stickers will give the students the confidence they need to show everyone around them. The birthday crowns will celebrate each child's special day. Whether we are learning from home or in school every milestone in a child's learning deserves a celebration. Helping a child love learning makes the world a better place. I am able to still support my students in class or at home. This is an exciting and challenging time for all. We can do better together!
