My Students

I am proud to be a part of this diverse group of learners comprised of multiple ethnicities and varied socio-economic backgrounds. Our students are highly mobile and face challenges that are often outside of their control, but they come to school ready to learn and to be loved.

My Project

This rug will be used daily in different ways. It will bring a sense of community to everything from our read a-louds to daily team meetings and can also offer additional space for centers or quiet reading. It will be the central hub for our activities.

The rug will provide may opportunities to incorporate community into our classroom routines.

It is a versatile tool and will provide a sense of warmth to our room that's been missing this year. Thanks for putting us put the help in helping us grow together.
