Bring the World Into Our Classroom!

My Project

These iPads will allow my students to access online learning. They love technology and are more engaged and excited about learning when they can display their technological skills.

With more iPads, we can work together in small groups to solve the mysteries of science, take virtual field trips across the world, and learn about students from other countries!

The benefits are boundless.

My special education students will also use these iPads to work individually on their specific IEP goals. They will complete assignments and then email their parents about what they've learned.

Even though they have limited writing and speaking abilities, they will be able to type out shopping lists, bring the iPad to the grocery store, and use it to engage with store clerks or ask for help when needed. Having technology that they can carry around and use functionally will prepare them for adulthood and expand their independence and quality of life.
