Help me give my students the ability to learn about the climate and environment while outside using portable desks and global map skills with an extra large Lego globe!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In today's education, it is easy to get wrapped up in all the technology around us. My goal is to help our students get back into the outdoors. These mobile standing desks will allow me and other teachers to take our students outside to enjoy our beautiful Michigan weather!
As a first-generation high school and college graduate, I use stories from my own life and experiences to relate to my scholars.
I know just how important it is to get fresh air on nice days. Being able to have class outside will allow us to recharge while still learning about our awesome world!
The extra large Lego Globe will also be a great tool to use outside and inside the classroom! It will allow my students to better understand the special differences between the countries that we discuss in class,
