This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students live in a low-income community with little to no resources. Unfortunately, many of my students do not have at-home support. I am trying to make their classroom a comfortable environment so they cam learn easily.
My students are the best!
I have 25 ELL learners who are hard working and love being at school. Many of my students face struggles at home, including lack of support from parents. I try my best to make sure their classroom is a place they feel safe and motivated to learn.
My Project
I would love to bring technology into my classroom. I want to teach my students to use an Ipad. There are so many awesome activities that the students can use on the iPad. I can connect the iPad to the projector, and students can work in small groups or independently. I would love for them to have as much technology in the classroom as possible.
It is so important because I know most of my students have no access to technology in their homes.
I want to bring as much technology into the classroom and I can, preparing them for their future in using technology.
