Help me give my students who are in a Title I elementary school, a chance to flourish in endless opportunities as they navigate through physical education with improved technology.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love teaching and want my students to have an end of the year that’s one to remember. This is not only my first project but it’s potentially my first Apple computer, if I’m fortunate enough to be funded. My hope is that this computer will bring better speed, graphics and creative possibilities to not only myself but to my students as well. It will replace my antiquated Chromebook which has its limits. I am looking to create slideshows, videos, QR codes, differentiated instruction and improved classroom management.
I currently use my computer to create, share, and present lessons in physical education and health to over 400 students a week.
I service students in Pre-K through 5 in a Title I school and try to make the most of what I have!
This new computer will allow me to research new, fun ideas and activities, create engaging lessons, communicate with teachers, students, and parents, as well as collect and organize data. Through this, I will be able to bring many smiles to children’s faces for many years to come!
