This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students go to school all day and will continue to do so during the entire summer break. This can be a good thing because they are able to earn extra credits and make up for gaps in their education. With this said, students very much lament the fact that they are not outside enjoying summer.
The institution is implementing academic incentives for the students if they put forth their best effort in school.
They are going to allow students to listen to music on MP3 players during while they are doing work on computers such as Powerpoints or individual math. In addition, they permitting them to play electronic games if their academics continue to thrive. We are requesting MP3 players and remote controls for the electronic games.
We are so grateful for DonorsChoose at this institution. The students know they are loved and these types of incentives mean the world to them.
