Help me give my students a chance to enjoy Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet in a group setting, with dramatic reading and investigation of drama, language, and poetry and a chance to better understand the Bard.

My Project

My students are inquisitive, diverse, creative, and thoughtful. They are making connections between time-honored classic literature as well as current literature and the world around them. They get excited when they realize they can understand writing as complex as Shakespeare's.

These Romeo and Juliet texts with side-by-side translations will provide the opportunity for several teachers at the same time to use a class of these texts for student learning and enjoyment of literature.

It is important for them to go "old school" and actually hold books in their hands and not just turn to the internet with their devices.
