Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students belong to the Child Development and Education Academy. They are working really hard this year to stay in class safely and healthy. Many of our students are juniors and seniors this year and will be using their computers in all their classes. They are hard-working and excited to be back on campus this year.
My Project
Students this year are required to bring their own laptops to class every day due to COVID. However, their Chromebooks do not last the entire day, and oftentimes they need to charge their computers. We do not have any charging stations on campus or in our classes. This will help students charge their Chromebooks while in class and be able to continue using them for their next classes. If students cannot charge they will not be able to succeed in their classes as many teachers moved to digital content this past year.
