Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my kindergarten classroom, students engage in literacy, math, social studies, art, and science learning stations (centers) to provide a guided, yet independent, hands-on approach to learning. As they work in stations, they learn to work independently as well as cooperatively within a small group. This also allows for problem solving with peers.
These games and tools will allow our students to work independently and build upon their independent work skills.
It will also give us the opportunity to help them work collaboratively. This is something that we have been struggling with since the pandemic.
