My Students

Our students at Reagan are respectful, responsible, on task winners! We have noticed that they need a boost in vocabulary instruction and would love to support them with books that gain their interest and are FUNNY! Humor is a powerful tool in education.

I want to fill the shelves with books that make them laugh and bring joy to reading for all of my students.

We are a Title 1 school and have a high population of students with free and reduced lunch.

My Project

I created this project because I want to bring amazing titles like Mud Puddle and Dude! to my classroom this year. I included some old favorites with new titles to meet the needs of all students.

I remember laughing at the feet of my teacher and I want to bring this same experience to my classroom.

Students become readers when they have access to books they enjoy. I also want my students to see books by a lot of different authors so they can have great models for their own writing. I can't wait to share The Queen's Feet and have titles by Robert Munsch and Dav Pilkey in my library for kids to choose from!
