This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With the addition of bilingual books in the classroom, I can provide students opportunities to look through books of a plethora of topics they most enjoy. Children will have access to look though books throughout the day in our classroom library.

Children will be able to develop and use literacy skills to: retell, infer, comprehend and predict using the books in the classroom’s library as well as when I read to them during whole group instruction.

These books will an asset to our classroom and will help develop a love of learning and reading.
