This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This program will help the librarian work with all of the students of MMS. Our Robin Hood Library serves all students in the building.
One of the biggest needs from the community is wellness literacy and the school is so excited to partner with Ms. Ginsberg to bring this nutrition program to the classrooms through the lens of the library.
The students will learn about fruits and vegetables through the eyes of "Willow" a bunny who lives in the garden and tries all the foods seasonally. Students will also have the opportunity to read books about Willow and cook their favorite bunny recipes!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
