Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will provide everything we need to create a safe and nurturing environment for the chicks. These resources (incubator, hutch, brooder, etc.) will allow my students to observe and care for living creatures, giving them a deeper appreciation for life sciences. They will practice important skills such as making detailed scientific observations, collecting data, and understanding the responsibilities of caring for animals. This hands-on experience will not only strengthen their connection to our science unit but also foster empathy, patience, and responsibility.

My goal is to create an engaging and meaningful learning experience that my students will remember long after they leave my classroom.

Many of my students learn best when they can see and interact with the subject matter, and this project will give them that opportunity!
