Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The use of an iPad can be used with all of my students. My students receive special education services and consist of preschoolers to fifth-grade students, including those who have communication delays and cannot access general education.
All students learn more when they are engaged, and the use of an iPad will keep them focused on the activity.
I am able to target their needs through the many apps that can be used on this device. My non-verbal students can benefit from the augmentative and alternate communication programs that give them a voice! Students working on their language skills can use the Apple pen to create stories and also work on their phonics to improve their reading and speech sounds. The iPad brings learning alive for my students. Please help them get their device!
