This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade science at a Title 1 school in the Los Angeles area. My students are AWESOME! They are engaged, eager learners with delightful senses of humor. My students love building, using scientific equipment, and identifying plants and animals around campus. This year, my students have told me that they want to keep interactive science notebooks rather than digital notebooks.

Please help me supply my eager students with custom class readers, instructional copies, supplies, and paper for all kinds of awesome and creative learning opportunities that notebooks can bring!

My Project

I will create custom readers for my students, provide instructional copies and interactive projects using paper. Students will decorate and add content to their notebooks using pencils and tape. We will keep loose pieces of paper organized with pocket folders and labels.

With these resources, my students will be able to enjoy the benefits of being IN PERSON and actively interacting to learn.

My students want to use their hands and feel the medium that they're using to learn. I believe that these materials will absolutely help me bring them experiences in the classroom that they deserve.
