My Students

The students at my school are well-behaved, ambitious, and willing to improve their language skills.

Many students' intention on the first day is to come to school to learn and to evolve their learning processes and understanding. In March, I transitioned the class to a virtual classroom environment by doing screencasts, Google Classrooms and Zoom calls.

My school likes to think of itself as a progressive school; however, the lack of technology within its walls contradicts this idea. Money is very tight at the moment. Technology allows the teacher to have the capability to analyze and track students' weaknesses. Unfortunately, the technology the district provided us for distance learning school does not meet the demands of our students' needs in distance learning.

My Project

Even in our first week of distant learning, my explanation to the students have been handicapped in a number of ways that this laptop will provide. It has been a frustrating week for me as I know that I am not providing the type of learning that these students require because of the limitations on the technology I have. The Dell laptop will bridge this gap.

My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in languages during distance learning.

Education is changing every single day, and so are the interests of my students.

Technology allows students to access resources beyond the textbook and appeals to different kinds of intelligence.

Technology is also of great help because the visuals are less intimidating than a typical book. Google apps themselves are a great way to introduce my students to technology as they are widely used in schools and colleges all over the world.
