Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having an inviting and comfortable classroom is vital to students’ learning success. A printer that prints in color and black-and-white benefits students by making learning materials more engaging and easier to understand. Due to having limited access to a printer that prints color, that goal has been hard to reach. In the past, the cost for providing my students with colorful printing resources had to come out of my pocket. However, colorful printing resources are something that I want to make sure my students have, so they can grow in their learning!
By choosing these items for my project, I am hoping that they will help my students’ learning in supporting their creativity through personalized projects and help with visual learning.
It is so great to see a student light up by adding a little color to their personal essays or immediately lock their eyes on a learning poster that is full of bright colors. In addition, having access to these materials will allow me to create personalized resources that meet my individual students' needs!
