This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
A typical day in my classroom would include lots of student led discussions, fun filled educational opportunities, and eager students who want to do their best and shine.
My students are amazing 5th grade individuals, ready for the big world ahead of them.
They come from a low income neighborhood but have big dreams, visions, ideas, and goals. Our school does their best to supply students with the basics, but I'd like to provide more than that because our students deserve the most. They are deserving of a quality education, in which they receive, but also deserve opportunities to reach their potential.
My Project
Having a color printer in our classroom will bring our classroom to life. We study such fun, high interest topics that deserve nothing less than a final product. My students are motivated by technology. They love typing reports and final drafts. Now all we need to perfect our routine would be a color printer to make these reports shine with illustrations and photographs that portray their reports. It's a great feeling seeing how proud a final product can make a student. It sets the bar high for them and they only want to do better and better. Why not, they have a big educational path ahead of them!
This project will make a difference in my classroom because most of my students don't have access to colored printing.
It will allow them to use their creativity, beyond the black and white! They will bring their ideas and reports to life and bring color and quality to our classroom!
