My Students
I teach an amazing group of third graders! I am so lucky to be their teacher. I get to greet 23 adorable faces every morning on our Google Meets, and they teach me as much as I'm teach them! They have just completed their first week of digital learning, and they have literally amazed me with their positive attitudes. My project will help enhance online learning for my students. I want to make this distance learning experience as positive as possible.

They are always more engaged when I can provide interactive technology. We are currently holding classes virtually, like so many others across the country. I want to bring the best possible tools into my virtual classroom! These students need and deserve everything that I can give them!
My Project
I will be able to link fun videos to my Canvas modules in the areas of science, reading, and math. After students watch the video they can take a quiz that is instantly graded. This gives them immediate feedback on their learning. They can also choose fun interactive games to play after the video, as well as fun activities linked to the video. There is even a printable component that is available if they choose! Students love the characters that are part of every video: Tim, Annie, Ben and Moby! I actually have kids begging for the quiz when I show the videos whole group.
